Well, this was certainly an intersting read. I like how there seems to be some feeling of innocent, yet bittersweet optimism shared between the two characters. The simplicity of the telling of the story leads me to think that this story isn't so much about the actual plot, but rather the ideas and thoughts behind the story. I don't know if i'm making much sense here, but in any case, I really did enjoy reading this.
To conclude, you have a wonderful style of writing, so keep it up!
