This is so darkly, sadly beautiful and haunting, I cannot believe it has not been reviewed yet!
In this one, you use more imagery than in the ones I've read so far, and the effect is stunning. "The disease that soaks up unshed tears", this is an amazing image, I know what you're talking about and it depicts it just so aptly.
One question: Do you mean "momento" or "memento" in line 6?
The ending is really great with the half-rhyme adding to its effect. I love this poem.
