one suggestion, the last two lines a cry, a sigh. i like that internal rhyme. not sure if you meant it or not, but it sounds great. only thing is the 'a' adds a bit of distance. which the rest of the poem doesn't have. not quite sure how to play with it. just something i noticed. (don't worry, i'm still jealous *g*)

it's really good, but somewhere in the middle of reading the poem i kind of got lost... like, the connection was cut loose or something...
overall it's wonderful. there's just something in the second stanza... can't figure it out. then again, maybe it's just me.

The imagery in this poem is unbelievable. It sounds very...exhausting.
