Cobster 2004-03-12 . chapter 1It makes me think, yes, but not that hard actually. In truth, it's something I can answer pretty easily.
You do what YOU want to do and don't worry about right or wrong. If you feel it's wrong what you're doing, stop. If you feel it's right, keep going. No one can boss you around because no one knows exactly what to do. You do it because it feels good. It feels good because you think it's right. You stop if you don't like it. To put it into somewhat spiritual terms, why should men tell you the word of God? Ask for yourself what makes sense.
Also: being open-minded does not mean accepting everyone's opinion. It means not shooting an idea down if you don't know enough about it to judge. It means forming your OWN opinion based on everything you come into contact with, and not shutting anything out because you have a bad first impression.
Even this may or may not be right. I could be wrong. But you decide if you like it (unless you want someone else to tell you).
In short, everything is not grey. Everything is quite clear, to me. I hope this helps you define the concept yourself. |
