I've been reading the first book of this story and now this one for pretty much the whole day, and I am really impressed. There are so many compliments I could give about how well-written this is, how the pacing is perfect, how the characters are some of the most realistic characters I've read about, and how well your writing flows, but it's getting late and time for me to go to bed. The only thing I could say to sum up everything I've thought about this story is that I love it, and it is definitely one of the best stories I've ever read on FP. I'm really glad I took the time to read this, it's been well worth it. I promise I'll give you a better review with more detail than this one next time, but I hope this will suffice for now :). I am anxiously waiting for an update!

I loved this chapter. Most of it would have to do with me be an architecture student. I love the detail you put in. And I especially loved the architect. Just thinking about spending half of my five year course travelling the world and seeing all the amazing built forms...

I really hope that the explosion was a minor one, that it didn't destroy the whole of the race track. Just thinking about something so grand and beautiful and, well, something into which so many years worth of hard work and labour has gone in getting reduced to rubble really saddens me. Like what happened at Bamiyan.

Is Perlin the same character with whom Cora was getting friendly in the first draft? Anyway, I really enjoyed the part with him and Arlan and Cora's banter. Just that showed me how close Arlan and Perlin are and how much Cora trusts him in just a month.

I'm also really curious about Arlan's travels. You make it so clear that they don't know each other so well yet -I mean each other's pasts, ofcourse, and not personalities- and I really like it. Considering they only met two months ago.

I did spot a couple of grammatical errors in here though. I hope you can work a bit on the editing 'cuz that would make this just that much better.

Wow, I'd almost forgotten about this- but I do remember how disappointed I was earlier, when I realized that there wouldn't be any more updates. I guess I was wrong.

There were a couple of grammatical errors, but, overall, I think your writing has improved. You've changed the plot too, right? I don't remember reading about the Noble Races in the previous draft, though, of course, the assassination attempt was there. Wonder if Arlan's reaction will remain the same.

I hadn't realized how much I missed Cora and Arlan until you updated again; sincerely hope that you don't wait this long before posting again.

Another great story! Keep up the good work. I like how Cora has to struggle agains the sexist people in the court. However, if I am being picky, i would say that you should try to explain more about the war with Gija. It has been a bit sudden and you should try to slow down a bit. Update soon! :D
