Heir of Paravel 2004-04-03 . chapter 1 "It was as if she had been transported not to a distand land, but to a forgotten memory."
Jon, this is breathtaking. Your use of language and colour here is lyrical, vibrant, and so very "real". You engage all our senses. Thank you, thank you for these incredible images, for the raw emotion, and for letting each of us connect the dots in our own ways. You pay your readers a tremendous compliment with each seed you plant in our imagination. You give us all a precious gift each time you take pen to paper (or should I say quill to parchment?) Much love and many thanks.

Writer in the Shadows 2004-04-02 . chapter 1"The rocky overhang that was part of the mountainside itself jutted out like a proud hook, or the sharpened beak of a hawk."
::points upwards:: I love that! Seriously, I really do love that sentence!
You already know I love the story, Jon...I can't say it enough though, and I can't stop reading it over and over again! Keep writing and I know one day you'll be famous! ::supergrin::
