How come my class never had to do something like this?

Interesting poem. I respect poems like sonnets, but for our generation them seem to box us in a bit. They do force us to be creative to fill a square, but we're still filling a square. Don't be reluctant to just write free-verse. I think that you have a lot of talent yet to explore, of course I am just reviewing poems that you haven't had reviewed yet, because I like it when people review my work so I'm trying to go out and review a bunch of other peoples work so that maybe I could get a couple more people to see my work. ^_^ Take care now.
