I thought I would give reviews to all the chapters, but find it more appropriate to give an overall oppinion of your story.
First of, let me say that I enjoyed it immensely. I think the story is very well constructed and it seems you have put some thought into it. And I hope you'll figure out what happens next. :-)
I like your characters. They have wellchosen names and they are very defined.
If I have to critize something it would be that the pace of the story sometimes seems to fast and that you neglect to describe the places we find ourselves in.
But overall, I find the story very good!

Still very nice.
The elements of fantasy seems to become more evident (they started in ch. 2). Like it that you build into the fantasy and not just start with fire bolts and such.

Not many tunnels yet, but I suspect they will come!? I love tunnels!
Anyway, I find the introduction very interessting and I find the atmosphere to be very well described.
Very nice first chapter and I look forward to reading the next.
