The last bit has me a bit confused. But the rest of it was marvelous! The contrast used is really effective.

An awesome piece that I would've put on my favourites' list had it not been maxed out (adding it to my profile though). Every stanza made such a powerful impact. The first two are absolutely outstanding.
I must admit though that the last stanza has me... confused. I missed something big in it... would you mind terribly if you could just email me it's general meaning? I'm sure I'm just reading it wrong or something... you know how us silly Africans can be.

I feel this way a lot. The last line is really haunting and beautiful. Touching work.

Wow... that was... amazing. Simply amazing. And to think that it was an experience that happened to you. 'Nail-scarred' is just such a magnificent way to describe the pain He endured... I'm in awe, here. Nothing more can be said about this truly marvelous piece.
