And I really enjoyed this, very powerfully written, I really felt Darren's pain and his depression. The horribleness of Todd's treatment of him just made the ending all the more beautiful. I also love your writing style, parts of it were very poetic, like "it was like a glass shattered and put back together: there were cracks and bits missing all over" very nice descriptions. Once again, this was an excellent piece. |

I started reading thinking 'oh no, how's she going to lead Darren's infatuation from Todd to James without it being ick?' and you totally managed to do it in one sentence (the one about the infatuation with Darren replacing the one about Todd). That was *brilliant* work, but I love this to bits anyway. The only annoying thing is the bloody A/N's interspersed (I probably spelt that wrong!) throughout the story, but *still*. Wow. You're going to my favourites' too and I will now go and finish my calorie-laden Coke. |
