I loved the last line. It showed a lot of spirit; especially from such a dismal experience.

i wish that i could have added some things that were in the original. i had some quotes from books, songs. Bleed American (like the song) was written in there, but that got taken out but i took it out, as well as a quote from Harriet the Spy (writing is a laxative for the soul) and the scouting report for Walter Johnson, a pitcher from the early 20th century (he knows what hes doin, or thered be dead bodies all over Idaho.)

As others say, I can relate. I know what you mean. However, your story doesn't really flow. It's very vague between different events and occurences.

I can completely relate to this piece . . . It's the exact same thing for me—if I get one single question wrong in class, it becomes a public humiliation because I'm supposed to be smart, I'm supposed to know everything. I'm supposed to be perfect, and people don't seem to recognize that I'm not, that I'm not infallible. When I don't get the best grade in the class, people rub it in my face. It's hard to determine whether people are only kind to me because they think that they might need help on their homework sometime in the future . . . Wow, I'm sorry; I totally went off on this tangent all about me and completely forgot why I'm writing this, which was to tell you how great it is. Congrats on expressing feelings that I'm sure many other people can relate to. (Which I have proved.)

If I could choose between having all the wonders of the world suddenly reavealed before my eyes, and reading one sentence of this entry, I would hesitate, and then choose this entry.
Your work is beautiful, and gives reason for the light to shine if only to see it.
