I love your poetic choice of words. I would love to make a little rant like this, but being the type of person I am, I think that I'll be sticking to Poetry. It's true, it is the human behind the parchment, behind the pen. So many wondrous things can arise from a page, but we must remember who placed those things upon the paper. Love the book, but love the author, Love the characters, but love their creator.
