Well, it sounds like our group of bards did well for themselves this night. At least Midori WASN'T out to pound anyone into the ground! And I think that someone has taken a shine to Nathaniel. Perhaps a budding romance starting there?

Again, another one of my favorites. Medivl fantasy is such a classic genire, and the mystirous exiled princess bit is a nice classic touch. I wonder when her past is really goning to bite her in the ** though. I sorta see this ending with her retaking control of Edo though. Well, it looks like a major battle is about to break out. The forces that Midori is working with are doing what they can, but a all out battle will not work. This might be a better time for guerilla tactics, hit and run, until more help can arrive.

I so enjoy this story. I know you have a lot of other stories but if you could please turn your attention once again to Midori & Co. it would be awesome to see maybe a little more Midori/Jantha interaction. I've been real good this year, please update. :)

This is a fun story, with very interesting characters. I especially like the tension between Midori and the Duchess. Written with your tongue firmly pressed against your cheek, you've still managed to cover most of the necessities in a good swashbuckler. I like the way Edo is being portrayed as a land of tall dark haired people. Almost as if they were patterened on a mix of Japanese and Norse hybrids. Lots of movement and attention to detail. Thanks for sharing!

It sounds to me like the Assassin's Guild is doing the smart thing: Check with a contact and find out if Midori IS the long lost princess! If she is, then it might be time to contact a MAJOR power player and see what is going on here!

Sounds like there might be trouble a brewing! If I was Midori, I would be prepared for anything, up to and including a possible assassination attempt!
