HiddenFlame42 4/20/04 . chapter 1 Another one that would make a good song. Fave lines: "As the Pain wells up, It fills this mortal cup, To its very brim," *applauds* Well done! :) |
KyoulNabby 4/20/04 . chapter 1Wow, I am so adding you to one of my favorite authors list. This poem draws its strength from the straight foward essence of the three lined stanzas. And the repetitive lines of "And I cry crimson tears now,/And I shed crimson tears" brings not only sorrow but forced sorrow. The whole idea of "bleeding" tears is such a strong trait here because you personify oppressors such as Darkness, Life, Death, Night, Pain, etc...things that do not physically hurt us. The best part is the last stanza where you "choose to carry on". A lot of people can learn from this poem. Inspirational. I hope to read all your work soon |
