Wing Chant 2005-02-17 . chapter 6
Those poems were utterly scary to read! (In a good way, I mean lol) They sure sounded like torture poems! (though, I've read none before) Awsome work. I hope you keep adding to the collection!

Aye, gruesome... but not overly so.
Good imagery and it flows nicely.
Quite informative too:)

All of these were great... I liked knotting the best though.
Infinite Smiles 2004-05-13 . chapter 5
And for lucky women, this just might lead to death.
I suppose, that to go through that and live would be unlucky. A quick death would be lucky.
Infinite Smiles 2004-05-13 . chapter 3
I am going to read these, sign off and go to sleep. I do not think that they will provide pleasant dreams. Great descriptions!! I think that it is really sad at how adept mankind is at thinking up ways to torture one another.
Infinite Smiles 2004-05-13 . chapter 2
Ouch! These are a great idea. Very unique!!

Too true too true. Again, very well written. What worries me is today we are being given a no win situation jsut as those tortured. You dare practice things we do not agree with? You dare think for yourselves? We will pull the flag out from under your feet and make you the fool. We control the information, so religion politics and media are all on the same page and we torture you with our lies and evil deds while we make it see that YOU are the liers and vile ones! SO, give up you have no hope, the house always wins, give up and join us. But, know that you will die in spirit if you do. There is no escape but to think for your selves, think things through, question. Perhaps it is too late?

This is another great description and wording, and rhyme. Very good! It is sad what we "higher anmals" have sunken to when one person's ideas overcome all others. Mengele would have felt right at home, I wouldn't doubt if his soul was in tocamada 9whoever, the leader of hte Inquisition/witch tortures). Did you know that King James changed a phrase in the Bible to read "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live"? It WAS "Thou shalt not suffer a POISONER to live." OOPS! He did it beause at the time Midle Eastern Terrorists, er I mean librals, er I mean gays, er I mean pinko commies ... what was I trying to say?

I am blocking myself from visualizing this device, I wonder why?

YIKES! this was in "Sleepy Hollow" one of my favorite modern films! The thing is, there was room in the chamber. This meant you could move, so if you felt weak from hunger, thirst, sleepiness, fainting from pain, your body would move among the spikes and it would tear into you. It would be a constant and uncomfortable pain as you slowly died, what would you do? Would you loose hope? Would you scream out for mercy or curse all under the sun? How could one stand this, I am a pain-wimp. I cut open my knee cap and I am running around cursing and limping. Long drawn out deaths terrify me, I had nightmares about them as I grew up! It si still a fear in the back of my mind.

Yeah, shock us like this, this is what I meant. Turning green.
Seeker of the Way 2004-04-27 . chapter 1
In the book "Hannibal" by Thomis Harris, there is a scene where people are leisurely walking through a museum installation of torture implements. I think Hannibal is observing, but it might as well by the wauthor's idea, that it takes a lot to really gtet to us these days - we are so numb to torture and evil acts! I felt the same way with the book and this scene, but it made me think. Then, I was so very very shocked at the end, what Hannibal did to that guy while he was still alive and talking! I had to put the book down, I almost felt ill! But nothing else in that WHOLE book made me think so much. I hope with these poems you make people realise the evil tragedy and horror of situations. I started to write a novel called "Death Watch" (after the deathwatch beatle) where most of the action takes place wher this one guy is forced to watch this serial killer torture and kill other people (maybe saving himself in the process for a moment or saving them from some torture or bringing them quick death?) It was t obe quite intense. The hook was to be ... well, pertty cool! But, it was so creepy and good it sacred me and I do not know where it is now.

How morbid, but touching at the same way... i dunno... it's late at night. I shouldn't be reading such in-depth stuff at this hour...
