I read the poem first and thought wow, sounds just like me. Then I read what you had written at the the top where you called it the story of your life. Amazing how such a simple but beautiful poem can strike a chord with just about anybody.

VERY nice. (I seem to be using that phrase a lot...) I love the rhythm and pattern of rhyme. You always seem to find the most interesting beats for your poems!

The -ion words thing seems to be a fasciantion to many writers! What i liked about this piece was the rhythm created by the short lines..almost like the steady palpiation of heartbeat leading us inevitably to the end, into the 'future' that 'is waiting'. Keep writing =D
