Aw... That's so cute. The thing about Akemi being in kendo uniform while playing soccer gave me a totally hilarious mental imge. :D Nice ending! A complete turnaround from the beginning where it seems angsty. Love it! :)

Oh yeah, I noticed something just now. Akemi calls Rin 'Rinny' at times, but she never called him 'Aki-chan' again, ne? Hehe.

Maybe you could've put this as a starting scene for the next chapter... or maybe you could've made this one longer, like, maybe you could show a scene describing what happened when Rin saw her father again at the start of the trial. Yeah, that IS short, isn't it? The ending was kinda abrupt, too... Ah, well. Even so, it's still nice :)

The conversation between Rin and Ai is a TOTAL surprise for me. I mean...uh... forgive me, but I almost forgot that Ai was still in the story *lol!* Nice, nice. Ai's attitude change kinda caught me off guard, but in the end, all's well :) I really like this chap. Short, as you said, but good. Keep it up!
