PERFECT way to make a transition from the petals to the thorns...wow...move over robert frost

I love the use of roses. Roses just can mean so much in writing. It's got a rosey feel to it, sweet, yet painful...this one was so vivid and real to me, I totally liked it.

I love writing about roses too, they have popped up in many of my works as you probably know.

Good juxtaposition of happiness with suffering. I enjoy how you again take roses and give them a different meaning. At times this piece seems a little harsh or choppy, but these are few and far between. In any case I liked it and I think you did very, very well. Well done!
