Wow, I'm really late on this one. Awesome though, I always love your use of italics, it adds so much. Lovely beginning too, I like the situations and imagery too. Overall wonderful, with a great last line that is the perfect end. Fantastic, keep it up!

Wow - I cannot put into words how much this poem touched me. The third stanza especially really hit me, for it reminded my closely of a story I am currently working on. This is such a wonderful poem! I love it.
