| the third eye 2004-07-23 ch 1, | abuseoh, i do love alice. lovely story. you have a wonderful poem here, and i can see the idea well. i would only suggest less repetition of "alice", especially in the later bits of the poem, although the use is very structural and keeps it from falling apart... so i don't know. you could just leave it. good work. |
| katmonkey 2004-07-15 ch 1, | abuseGreat poem, really original. I love it. *lime-girl* |
| Louis the Rogue 2004-06-25 ch 1, | abuseHello! I wanted to thank you formally for reviewing my poem with a review in reply. I really liked this one, mostly based on the theme and use of symbolism. It stood out. |
| sunstormed 2004-06-02 ch 1, | abuseaww that was so sad! i liked this poem very much, it had an almost innocent feel to it. great job! |
| Nails For Your Crucifix 2004-06-01 ch 1, | abuseAh i feel this all the time. Nicely done and nice to know that other people feel the same way as I do. |
| Matthew James Current 2004-05-31 ch 1, | abuseVery nice! Really an original idea, and it expresses that need of wanting to move away from a troubled life, a troubled past very well. I've exprienced that feeling before. Seriously though, there is nothing quite like reading a well written about a great idea. You have done very well here, by far this is my favorite poem of yours that I have read so far. Definitely a favorite. Well done! |
| Charlotte Higgens 2004-05-31 ch 1, | abusewow that was great. inspiring really, i can only hope to write as well as you allready have. |
| Anglachel67 2004-05-31 ch 1, | abuseI love the analogy, (probably because I love Alice and Wonderland), but not only that, the comparison makes complete sense. Good one. I would never have thought of something like that. Way to be creative. |
| novembrewolf 2004-05-16 ch 1, | abuseNice poem dealing with the Lewis Caroll piece. I like the smaller allusion to Humpty Dumpty when you wrote "Shattered on the floor. Breaking even more." Great job! "To more" should be "too more," though. Minor in such a wonderful piece. |
| Dakota Alexus 2004-05-16 ch 1, | abuseThis is beautiful. I really like it because i know who alice is so it's not hard to understand. great poem. |
| WrittenInJello 2004-05-15 ch 1, | abuseI started to overlook this because there have been many works concerning Alice, but this one stands out in its originality to me. Your metaphors are well done, particularly liked the last line "I can't get through the glass." |
| vturnip 2004-05-14 ch 1, | abuseAwe what a great poem. Nice work, like a little fairy tale. |
| Infinite Smiles 2004-05-13 ch 1, | abuseAw.. Alice.. You made me want to watch the cartoon again. Great poem... I like the way that you incorporated a fairy tale (is Alice in wonderland even a fairy tale? Well, you know what I mean) into the poem. Grat job! |
