lol oh, it's too early in the morning for me to grasp this one, methinks (or perhaps i've just never worn contacts, eh? :P), but i definitely like the sound of it, and you have a great rhythm running throughout. the last four lines were the most intriguing to me, because even though the title indicates that it's a poem about contacts, i could almost interpret them to be about soldiers *le shrug*. ah well, great job regardless. ;) kudos!
