I don't think I've ever read anything quite like this before, but I'd be willing to read me, if you plan to make this more than a one-shot. (I hope so.) Only thing I didn't think fit too well was Svetlana's attempted seduction of Beauford and later, contrasting that with "There is only love of God." Now, lust and love aren't the same thing, but if she's so religious, why would she try to seduce him in the first place? An important rule of Christianity is sex after marriage (supposedly.
