This is beautiful. Honestly, that was just beautiful. I love the lines, "The sun fills the sky, The martians awaken, The streetlamps all die." Definately one of my favorites. The only suggestion I have is that it seems like you punctuate it unevenly. Some ends of sentences/thoughts have periods, and some don't. keep writing!
