The whole thing just flows seamlessly. I love the second stanza and the images it brings. Unique.

Quite unique, I like the images you use here, especially "a stage so dark it smells like night", this mixture of the sense impressions. All this creates a very rich, sensual atmosphere which really fits the poem. Well done.

Absolutely beautiful poem. My favorite line has to be:
"on a stage so dark it smells like night"
That one single line is not only fluid, but it conveys so much.
However, the second line of that stanza is a little awkward and doesn't flow with the rest of the poem.
Also, the way it ends leaves me feeling it was ended prematurely.

I really liked this line:
"on a stage so dark it smells like night"
"smells like night," I thought that was pretty good. An over all very good romantic piece, very nice, very good!

Wonderful rhyming scheme, its really difficult to achieve a rhyming poem that doesn't distract from the poem itself, so congrats. Is this about ballet? I never was terribly interested in dancing, I've always liked to watch it though, its like three dimmensional poetry.
