I like! I like a lot! I wonder if perhaps you're going to move forward with some form of friendship between Rin and Gene (which would, needless to say, complicate things immensely for Michael)? I love Sen's character, she reminds me of the movie "Bless the Child".
I have one question: Why did Nan decide not to turn Rin in from the onset? What's his background?

holy crap, that was amazing! At first it felt like it was very inspired by Stephen King's "Firestarter", but then it very much took on a life of its own. Sen sounds like a fun character to write, and I like Wes' name! lol, Also, was Michael's name a pull from Abrahamic mythology? As in Michael the Archangel, who cast Satan out of Heaven? It's certainly a name fitting for a Demon Hunter! i'mma go read more now, lol.
