What a tear jerker! I loved the descriptions and... well, everything. Seriously, this is awesome.

I was moved very much by your story. You have a genuine talent for bringing a reader into the situations you describe, covering them with imagery that brings the scenes and characters alive in a way rarely seen.
The part when the dragon is reliving his memories was an excellent insight into this character. His earliest childhood memories are inspired and well-written.
I could not find anything really to complain about. This was a well written piece and congratulate you wholeheartedly.

Wow... really powerful. Kinda depressing how the dragon accepted his death while reliving moments of his heart-warming past.
You'll understand if I didn't get around to reading this right away. You're much better than you give yourself credit for!
