Du wolltest auch eine; hier ist sie:Ich find' das Gedicht auf der einen Seite sehr knuffig; "The teapot speaks of you" - das gibt einem so ein warmes, geborgenes Gefühl; eben das, das man hat, wenn man mit einem guten Freund/etc. vorm Kamin sitzt und eine Tasse Tee trinkt; auf der anderen Seite könnte man sagen, es ist sehr traurig, aber das finde ich eigentlich nicht. Das lyrische ich lächelt "I smile in remembrance" beim Gedenken an die verstorbene Person und das ist eigentlich ein sehr friedliches und Hoffnung machendes Bild; man könnte dazu vielleicht sagen, dass der Tod zum Leben dazu gehört und man an dieser Stelle indirekt das Gefühl vermittelt bekommt, dass man geliebte Person zwar immer im Gedächtnis behalten, sie aber gleichzeitig loslassen und sich somit glücklich, mit einem Lächeln an sie erinnern alles gilt natürlich nicht nur für verstorbene Personen, sondern auch für die, die einen verlassen, oder von denen man sich getrennt hat. Vielleicht meintest du ja eher sowas mit deinem Gedicht. Interpretation hin, Interpretation her; es ist auf jedenfall ein sehr schönes Gedicht und es regt NICHT zum Nachdenken an, was ich absolut hasse, sondern zum "Nachfühlen". Menschen, die jemanden verloren haben, würde das Gedicht sicher viel Mut machen.

I really like the Haiku, it's simple but very strong and ambigious. The declaration of fact is honest and real. I agree with the poem, I would give up everything, even our friendship for my friend to be happy.
