Valdez 2004-09-19 . chapter 4*is giddy like a school girl*I just don't know what to say I mean OH MY GOD!*takes oscar*You love me...you really love me!Lol overall yet another wonderful chapter I can't wait to see how Rick gets out of his fight with Karmis.Keep up the good work! |
nightdragon0 2004-09-06 . chapter 4Karmis sure is an interesting form of a dragon fighter, bit like some sort of monk/melee class!
Hope it turns out well too. |
 Crauth 2004-09-05 . chapter 4Really well done! :D
The descriptions are very vivd, espcially for Karmis. I like how her character comes out even from her speech instead of statements like 'She was very easily annoyed and short of temper'. Your description is really succint and very easily understood without any loss of meaning :D I really like that part about the Trial of Honour. Shows Karmis' strong character :D I like her a lot, but Silverheart is still my favourite.
On the last part, where Valdez is talking about the 'watch them breathe...", it sounds like he is treating them as a sort of documentary instead of settling their score, or as Karmis would put it, Trial of Honour. Not that it is anything bad, it is actually very amusing, releases the building tension in a nice way :D
Where's Silverheart Asura, Commander 1st White Dragons?
*glances around eagerly and sighs when the realisation that he is not in sight hits*
PS: If you want to, you could always do a search for the word Doune and replace it with Rick. It would make things much easier. Most word processing programs should have the search and replace function.
Done with Dragon Waltz, but uploading will take a while. I have to check it over for grammar and spelling errors :D |
nightdragon0 2004-07-31 . chapter 3For a history lesson, it was greatly detailed. Definitely creating a universe and backstory for yourself can't be a simple task, but you've done a good job at it.
.
I'm wondering if this new saga will take place after all that has happened, or something inbetween.
.
It's definitely all about Silverheart in the earlier chapters, and let's see how it goes. |
Valdez 2004-06-25 . chapter 3Very very very nice.I enjoyed this very much.A short history lesson that you managed to add a lot of suspense into.Keep up the good work I want to read more! |
Crauth 2004-06-24 . chapter 3Something is going to happen and while I know that, the future is still as vague as ever. Very nice suspense building and to put it into a history lesson, you have actually set the placing and timeframe while starting the plot rolling at the same time. Usually, I can only do one at a time. Do you mind if I am envious again? |
Crauth 2004-06-22 . chapter 2Feel free to utilise Calcifer as much as you like. It is totally fine with me. As for the formating, perhaps if you type it out with MS Word then save it as a webpage (.html) it might help.
Gee. I thought it was 500 years ago? Perhaps this is a flashback to help set the introduction to ease the readers into the world? Interesting and arresting. Fast paced action and rising emotions are highlights of this. The part about the private and Commander Asura really brings out his concern for his comrades, known or unknown. I love the ending a lot :D You actually managed to incorporate it into your story with your characteristic style. Very nice. |
Crauth 2004-06-22 . chapter 1Er... I don't think I did that much. Are you sure it was me...?
Philosophical. I agree, though about rebuilding I have thoughts. Rebuilding will be easier over time. Partings serve to strengthen, not weaken. After all, parting is such sweet sorrow, as Shakespeare put it. The fates are unpredictable and who knows, friends have the strange way of reappearing, especially at embarrassing times too.
Is it Silverheart writing there? If it is, I am going to kick whoever made him unhappy. It seems to melancholy and depressing. I can sympathise, even empathise. How can his friends just leave like that, telling him that we don't want you? It is simply cruel, especially if they know that he has only them as friends.
Well, good for whoever it is. At least he learns to cope, though his life is horrible to have dealt him such a heavy blow. Friends are our other main source of support, with family as the other. Lonely = bad. Depression can get to you when you are alone and unhappy.
Overall = touching! I want to go cry in a corner for a while now. It is that powerful and moving. |
 Valdez 2004-06-21 . chapter 2Excellent story!
It was kind of confusing but I like the uniqueness of Silverheart.A dragon cleric...never thought of that really.Keep up the good work and explain some more about the story in the future chapters.I couldn't really keep up with what was happening and why. |
