Reviews For: Into Darkness Shines a Light
Edraith 2004-06-29 . chapter 1
Beautiful. I like the two-fold structure that corresponds to the title, the way you start off with darkness and then bring in the light. Your choice of vocabulary is wonderful, and I like the images you use. In fact this somehow has a Tolkienesque feel to me, perhaps because of the road image, "The road goes ever on and on" etc., you know. ;-) Nicely done.
Hey - you are a Christian and love Tolkien and Lewis: you might really enjoy my LotR-fanfic (I have to check out your fanfics as well...), the link is on my main FP-profile page (Eirien).

I've read a few of your poems, and you are a brilliant, brilliant writer. I don't agree with your sentiments, because I'm not a Christian, but your writing is amazing.
Had I not read your other poems, this could have applied to any religion, though. The only thing that is bothering me is that, having read them, I get the impression that you think faith in the Biblical God is the only right faith. People can have faith in other things; lack of faith in God isn't what makes something depressing.
Anyway, beautifully written.

Tolkien's characters did too have faith!! they had Eru, their God.
