I might argue the easy point. In most suicide cases the act of suicide is hard to go through with, the person is nervous, depressed, and scared. It's a tough choice to make. I'd probably use the word 'simple', because slitting your own wrist is a simple motion, but not an easy one.
However, the word easy goes along well with your ending. Very nice writing.
