I love stories that mix dream and reality. :-) I'm looking forward to reading more of this, but I have one note:
Watch out for verb tense. For example, you began with "it was" which is in the past tense, and then you went on to say, "she has" which is in the present tense. Then, you go back to the past tense. Lol... Nevermind me... I'm just a pedant. Sorry...
