Reviews For: A Prison
Good Ol' Magic 2007-11-10 . chapter 1
Beautiful, there's no other way to describe school than prison.*Applause*
Strikeout 2004-12-30 . chapter 1
I personally had no problem with the system when I did my A-levels but some of my friends struggled with them. I can see how they are like a prison, taking your freedom for two long years. But take it from me, it's worth it in the end when they get you into university and introduce you to real freedom!

Dear PP,

This poem really conveys your frustration about having to study. I guess anyone could relate. (Another A - level horror story o_o I'm scared now. I'm in year 11.)

The structure is used really well in this poem. One does get inspired by suffering!

Regards,~Sweets~

you reviewed what i wrote, so i'm reviewing something of yours. i like it, your a better poet than i am. poetry isn't my thing, demons are though. as for the last two lines of untitled, i don't know what movie they came from. i was watching that episode of the simpsons on tape and just wrote it down, so i can't help you there. i agree, school is a prison!

wouldn't we all like to breathe, but it is hard sometimes, nice job
Genius-Ben 2004-08-18 . chapter 1
Ah, very good. I find this poem quick and yet very descriptive. It has a lot of raw power. Keep up the good work.
Bravo.
Witch Kat 2004-07-19 . chapter 1
Wow! I like this. Has nothing to with the fact I have an obsession with prisons either. I so understand the feeling portrayed. Very nice, very nice. Also thank you for the reveiw of the weird poem Just Jokin Around. It inspired me to add another.
Aillil 2004-07-15 . chapter 1
Totally how I feel when taking a test--and you've read just how I feel when taking a test! Even as I read your poem I looked outside my office window and it made me sad! I like the line "Outside/I would breathe" very very true. As always I love your work, but, what's this! I have nothing to suggest! This poem is fine the way it is!

William E. Mason 2004-07-13 . chapter 1
The truth of a young mind penned up in a world that threatens its very sanity, has never sounded so wonderful. You style is strong and not overly descriptive. Your use of language, a mix of the symplistic day to day and the undertones educated thought. It was a true joy to read.
revengedemon 2004-07-07 . chapter 1
I feel that way in school all the time... The repetition/emphasis of "outside" was perfect.

Wow, and I thought my AP exams were depressing. . .
