Well, you certainly could write a poem when you were younger - and not a mention of Bruce Willis anywhere - I'm rather relieved. However, with the '...' at the end there, it makes me wonder if something more is about to happen? If you save the world I shall be most disappointed, unless it's done in a comic fashion, possibly involving the sacrifice of an irate maths lecturer or two.
Having read some of your ff.net work (or all if you haven't updated since June), I can see the difference in your writing styles, and in one way I think you should bring back the darkness you've got here. Darkness is fun :D
