How kind. About my dear friend, Saleci, you speak the truth. I must disagree, though, for, judging by this poem, you are as wonderful at the art of poetry as she. Bravo, dear friend, bravo.

In all truth I really don't know what to say to such praise and my first reaction is to deny all and seek to confess that my humble skill is not as great as you believe. I am truly flattered that you feel in this way about my poetry and I want to assure you that your own skill is not so lowly as you may believe but to me worth as much praise as you seek to pile on my own. This being said I wish to thank you for your admiration and your thoughtfulness.
