Really good. I often feel that tension between what the Bible tells us, what our own wishes tell us, and what reality seems to tell us about God. I guess it's faith that has to stick to the God of your first and third stanza, while what we see with our eyes (your second stanza) is not always the "real reality", if that makes any sense. It is hard though, I know. You've voiced that conflict really well here.

Too bad the only God that is tangible is the one that is causing pain. I don't think he causes the pain, though. It has got to just be the people. Sorry, I'm a believer in God. This was a good poem. I like the triple way you wrote it.
