| Quest the Insane Elf 9/26/04 . chapter 3 "As the only non-elven, albeit temporary resident of Daiye, Keena knew that she was always living under the threat of being banned from the city should she ever make a slip; she had never planned on staying in the elven city for very long, but she knew that she was always in danger of being put to death should she return to the lifestyle of a mercenary in the human cities that she had lived in before coming to Daiye, especially if her most recent deeds were ever discovered, and as the months she spent in the elven city had passed she had found herself becoming more and more attached to the city and it's inhabitants, especially Jabez and Valdir." - I think this possibly is the longest run-on I've seen my entire life. Other than that, fun times as usual. |
| Quest the Insane Elf 9/25/04 . chapter 1 Well...in my honest opinion, I didn't skimmed until I got to the description of the little girl because it sounded so much like every other prologue on fictionpress. But then it rapidly gets better especially with the card game and the Ancient and personally, i think you could just cut most of the beginning. But that's just me. This one looks very interesting, so I'll keep reading (yay! you get a reviewer) because i know that feeling you get when nobody reads your stuff. Good job! |
