This is really good. I love it! I wish there was more too it. Have you ever concidered making this something longer? You have a good style of writing that is clear and easy to read, but still holds enough mystery to keep the reader interested. I hope I can read more some time.

Very nice... it's too bad it's only a one-shot though. I wouldn't mind reading more of this swashbuckeling pirate adventure and the growing relationship with Drake and Evander.

Sweet.What the old man was doing was creepy but it added to the relationship. The ending was the best part, sad to say. And I'm glad that there wasn't anything too graphic, it would have spoiled the story.

I think it would have been a lovely story if you hadn't included that scene of gratuitious violence towards the end. A pirate can be fearsome and vicious and perform daring rescues/kidnappings without beheading anyone. Other than that, nice story, but I agree with some of the other reviewers that it would be better if it weren't a one-shot and if their were more character development.

I do like. It's interesting, and seems as if it should have more but it works as one.

not much sap but still likeable even if there was implications of ... um stuff ... and that disgusting fat man. XD eve = uber. drake = okay. haha. i'd have liked to see more of a romantic development between the two but we don't always get what we want don't we? at least eve's not stuck with evil blubber. =_=
