one thing i want to point out: if i wasn't mistaken, how did matt end up in new mexico when all the magic took place in a mystic celt country like wales? i'm thinking that avery has a connection with all this magic and wales (not to mention merlin and lilith as well). hope you clarify it in the next chapter.
oh dear, no avery's stuck with a turtle-human in her room. what's more, the turtle wants to kiss her. i feel for the poor girl. after all, green skin's not really attractive...

i like this. the only problem i had was how there was a lot of magic in the prologue but none in the seccond chap. this one is getting better. good job so far.
