mm, this poem is really quite nice. interesting that you wrote from a friends pov, though i think many people deal with the same struggles with their faith. its nice to read a poem about religion that isn't so fluffy (not that those are all bad either) but good work, keep it up :)

I understand your friends foot hold I've been there.
Conflict between God and yourself and the world, and wonder of why God gives free will?
I wonder that too often I do, life would be simpler if we were to do what we were told and only that.

This was really beautiful. I am sure there are a lot of Christians, and even people of other faiths, who can relate.
