Jon -- first of all, I'm shocked that this has gotten no reviews till now, while this has been uploaded for almost two months.
I love this!
I can almost hear Axl Rose's voice singing this, and the lyrics are slightly in U2 style, which isn't bad at all. (C'mon, GNR and U2 together... how can that be bad?! ^_~)
I love each one of the lines, and especially this
'Broken-hearted and confused
Broken-minded, drifting through
I'm hurt, feelin' abused
I'm shattered, torn right through
An' I don't know what to do…'
amazed me. No matter how good the rest of the song is, this part stands high above all else. It's not so much your choice of words that impressed me so, even though that's very good as well, it's more the structure, the feeling it gives, the way it flows...
I also love the way the line 'An' I don't know what to do' keeps coming back.
In the catagory of C.C. there is barely anything to say - maybe, perhaps, that the Chorus could be slightly improved, because it doesn't flow too well along with the rest of the song, but that's just my opinion; feel free to ignore this.
Once more - I love this! ^_^
