Reviews for Sadness
Edraith 8/13/04 . chapter 1
It might not have the rhyme scheme and rhythm of a traditional poem, or the format of a modern one (? but then can't a modern one have any format you want?), but i like it, and for me it is a poem. For me it definitely more than a sentence, but perhaps that is because in contrast to the first reviewer I DO care about the subject matter. There is a climax in the description, the end is different and brings kind of a summary, and the feelings it expresses justify that listing of "I'm"-sentences, they fit the topic and reflect the depressed state of the speaker. So, it might not be as strong as your other works, but it still is a valid work of art, and people can relate.

Honestly I don't particularly care for this poem's format, let alone the subject matter, which I'm not thrilled about either. This doesn't seem so much a poem as a sentence saying you're not happy. Try to make it into a poem and it could be much better.
