I'm really impressed, there's so much honesty in your poetry. You're timing and rhyme are a bit off sometimes, but it's got feeling and that's what matters.

That would be rough losing someone close on your birthday. My sympathies. I have a cousin who was born the day my grandmother died. She never knew her, of course, but the taint of having something like that happen on your birthday changes things for everybody involved.
Nice work, and it's always a great thing to deal with problems and feelngs through poetry. There's something so theraputic (sp) about it. Keep writing/typing things down. You might be surprised who can relate.

p.s. *shivers* yes, The Hobbit cartoon is very scary. Gollum was like a frog, and the wood-elves were green. Odd. I don't know what they were on when they made that movie.

i used to feel that the only one who loved me in my family was my grandfather and when i was on vacation he died or cancer -- and they all promised i could say good bye but i never have.
