That's weird. Well, obviously, of course, but weird in a sort of familiar way.
Although I'm not sure whether the phrase "scare you to death" is meant to be literal or hyperbole... I like the ambiguity.

Oohh, I absolutely loved this! Creepy and yet sweet in a morbid kind of way. Loved the last two lines.

For some reason or another, the first ten lines don't thrill me. But I really, really, really like the last six lines. And there's just something about "And I'll scare you to death / For old times' sake" that is interesting to me. Can't quite pin-point the reason, but I like it a lot.
