This is so beautiful. I love the way you always manage to incorporate a perfect rhyme scheme and rhythm so naturally into your poems without compromisimg the message or appearing forced at all. You truly have great talent. I love the fragility and imperfection, yet loyalty and strong bonds in the description of the person/ relationship here. It reminds me of my latest poem "You stood at my door", also the ballad-like and fantastic touch in both - funny that both of us should write so similar poems at the same time. ;-)

Quite beautiful. It reminds me of my love and protector who was once such a broken person, and still holds me together. I love it.
