I read this awhile ago and I /thought/ I reviewed, but apparently that was not the case. ^_^ I've not got a whole lot of constructive criticism on this chappie that internet editing/commenting can help with. Real-life betas, however, are a gift. ^_~
This was a good chapter, although Kellen's "That's sick!" seemed just a bit too weak. ^_~ Can't wait for more!

Wow, great story! Started out with a nice bang. Maybe you could clarify a few things... like the whole Mage thing, i am slighlty confused abot that, but everything seems to be building up nicely.

Yay! This was a good story, but I'd probably slow down a little, let the reader wonder what's going on, unless this attack is actually something small that takes up only a small portion of the story. And you need to slow down on character introductions. It's confusing to have every important character introduced in a matter of paragraphs. Good story, though, and I can't wait to see what happens.
