I really like this poem... and I can't quite place my finger on why. I think it's the simplicity, the way everything is stated simply as it is, the way the emotion is so intrinsically linked to the words of the poem, and how it all... I don't know. I just know that it's beautiful. And it flows beautifully, too, which is rare for a poem as short as this. Very nice work.

(You have a itty-bitty spelling error, though. It should be "than" instead of "then".
