This is a very interesting poem, and highly original. I really liked it. The only thing that bothered me was the last stanza; it has an odd number of lines, and when I recited it inside my head, it sounded like it was cut off abruptly after "And those who look up and wonder". It sounds like a cliffhanger in poem form, actually. I assume you did that on purpose, but I thought I'd point it out, regardless.
