I prefered the second alternate ending. The third one was pretty good. It had a nice twist. I wasn't crazy about the first one but if you had only posted that it wouldn't have bothered me too much.

I agree with whoever said this is good how it ends right here. Otherwise, I'd go with optional ending number 2.

Is this finished or are you going to continue it? It works well if you leave it as it is. I liked the last line. It makes a nice ending whether it is the end of the chapter or story.
