I loved that! It's really inspiring too, and that's exactly the thing I needed to read at the moment.

That's really inspiring- saying "You don't always have to be perfect." It really fits my mood right now, too, so I was rereading it and realized I hadn't reviewed. This is one of my favorites of your recent poems.

I love this for a few reasons:
1. You can take the subject of your drumline and construct it into a magnificent poem.
2. "show you I'm not just silence and attempted compliance" The rhyme isn't forced and it fits perfectly and adds some poetic grace to the piece.
3. It's not a love poem. I wish I could write something that's not. I wish anyone could write something that's not. Good job.

Very nicely written, I think we've all been feeling like that this week. Love the excitement that you feel when you read it, it's just great to know that you're gonna keep on trying.
