oh, please don't stay away from haiku. there's so much beauty in it (both the concept of haiku as well as your own lovely one)-- one of the most difficult things to do is choose the shortest words but keep maximum effect: kudos for absolutely mastering that.

cheers-- lin

Outstanding. ¡A google of gooles of stars awarded! Rhyme with profundity—how rare! BTW I'd wipe out the apologia—it's not needed. m

I'm not really big on haiku myself, but the title "sui generis" caught my eye... and I liked the phrases. I look forward to reading more of your works.

Yay spliced! I remember hoping you would try these since you seem to be the master of all format poems. Brilliantly done, grovelgrovel etc. ;)

You and 'Death by Association' are really getting me into poetry. This is good stuff.

Oo...your particular word choice is spiffyness incarnate. It really does sound like part of story. I like how it's about a demon, but also mentioning light...that's pretty rare. These spliced haikus are cool formats, I've never tried one yet...I should at some point. :P Nice alliteration, too. Good stuff, as usual. ^_^

i love supernatural stuff, so this was awesome! Great work! Keep writing your Haikus, they're good!

Interesting ideas. I often think Haikus would be useful if one was writing a story and wanted a poem to introduce each chapter or something like that. I liked this, anyway.
